Leadership for School Change

In this course we explored education's history(particularly the roots of progressive education) through research, books, and scholarly articles. Each teacher found a way to play a leadership role in their school. Through conversations with colleagues and members of our cohort, we developed ideas for stirring positive growth and change. By the end of the project, we were asked to boil our dreams down to an action plan! This is the first step in a larger dream/change for school culture. My dreaming and doing activity centers around bonding and bridging ties amongst staff members to create a more cohesive, unified staff.
